Are you a Motorhome or Camper owner or a small hire company ?

Why not think about hiring it out and doing it directly - not using an agency. You will take and retain the complete and full amount of the hire fee - not just two thirds or half of it.  You do all the work so why not get all the money.

• It was easy and not expensive to set up taking credit card payments - we can explain how.
  

• We do not spend too much time on this business - and it's only in the summer.

• We are cheaper than most yet we receive all of the hire fee each time.

• We make a good profit every summer season for just a few hires.

• You could do the same if you wanted to.

We are regularly asked if we know of another motorhome for hire for our hirer's friends.  Yours could get the booking if you let us know about it.

• We researched the ins and outs of all this thoroughly before hiring out our own.

• If you are keen to earn some money from your motorhome or camper, we would be happy to help you get it sorted and explain where and how to get the right insurance.

• We are a member of a small network/group of private camper and motorhome hirers.

• There is no charge to join the group.  We have joined together for each others benefit.  We share enquiries when our own vehicles are booked.  If you decide to join the group we will pass on enquiries to you too.

• Give you ideas on finding the right person to set up your web site

• Explain how to you could set up accepting payments over the phone and on line.

Why not help to cover the cost of your purchase and maintenance this coming year.

When you run the hire yourself:

• You get the whole of the hire fee.  Absolutely no fee to pay anyone else.

• We have found that it is just as easy to do it yourself especially if you already have a web site.

Here is what happens when you hire out your vehicle through an agency

• You are the person who gets the vehicle ready for the hirer
  

• You do the handover to them personally
  

• You are the one who makes the final decision on whether to hire it to them or not.

• You are the person who checks it over afterwards and cleans it ready for yourself or the next hirer.
  

Once you have set up the hire insurance at the start of the season -which is easy enough to do and although can be a bit expensive depending on the value of your vehicle - will be covered in the first few weeks or months of the season - depending on how often you hire it out)

• You still do the same checks on the person

• You still prepare and clean the vehicle and

• You still do all the handover and handbacks.

BUT.... a reminder on the good bits:

• You personally take whole of the hire fee - all for yourself.

• You hold the £500 excess (or whatever amount is chosen) in your own bank for the period of 5 or more weeks.

• By linking our sites & names together we can help build a strong group of small and private hirers with each owner taking their full hire fee.

• Some private hire companies have just one vehicle some have 2 or more, some have small vehicles, some have large.  Some are new and some are older.  Some are campers and some are motorhomes.

• We are no more in competition with each other than all those owners on the books of the agencies.

• Joining together means we can bring in more business and link together and get higher on the search engines.  Every link external to your site helps get you higher on the search engines.  Each gaining the maximum from the vehicles income. As a group we may even be able to negotiate on insurance premiums, camping organisation memberships and perhaps other things.
  

We are therefore aiming to build a list of other private hire sites and will perhaps set up a separate web page linking them all together.

• We do not intend to make a charge or take any part of your hire fee for this.
  
• If you already hire out your vehicle and have your own web site etc., or are thinking about it, we would be delighted to link with you for free. 
  
• We are not necessarily at this stage looking for a reciprocal link.

• Other small private hire companies have already joined forces with us  - think about it and work out how much money you could be earning personally from your own vehicle.
