Reviews of camper/motorhome holidays from our hire customers
May 2011. Private use over 3 weekends.
April 2011. We had a great 4 day trip in the camper in Hampshire for my son's wedding. We used it as accommodation at his house which was jam packed full of family from overseas. It turned out to be an ideal annex to the house and we could even entertain guests of our own for drinks etc. It was equipped with everything we needed. Wonderful trip and just right for that great day. Comfortable beds and roomy inside but not so big to drive. Easy and successful trip.
We will definitely consider hiring again when visiting friends and relatives. Means we don't impose too much. H & B
April 2011. Thanks so much Paula, we had a brilliant long weekend over in Dorset. Weather was ideal. Motorhome was better than good. It was better than the one we hired a few years ago because of the layout. It was in really good order too. We liked the relaxed seating at the rear. Much better than having to sit sideways in the middle staring at the wall or the cooking area if you ask me.
We didn't bother to put the bed out each night. We didn't want to sleep over the driver area either because we were using that for storage of bedding anyway. We found the L shaped lounger seats were ideal to use as single beds. Much quicker in the morning and evening too.
We also liked your special welcome basket of goodies. Your home made jam was absolutely delicious. I couldn't believe so much equipment was provided. I found everything I use in the kitchen at home I think - even down to the garlic press. Thanks so much for good friendly service and I must also add excellent value for money. No wonder it is booked up so often.
March 2011. We have just come back from a fabulous time touring Devon and Cornwall. First time away in a motorhome so we were a bit hesitant at first. However, Paula and John were so helpful and friendly we felt at home straight away as they showed us how to use things in the motorhome. Lots of good advice and tips too. Even more reassuring was the fact that there was a good photographic guide in case we forgot anything after leaving them but they insisted we could ring anytime if we got stuck with anything. We didn't need to though.
We kind of thought it would be like camping but it was just like home. The bed was comfortable. The loo and shower were excellent. We wanted to keep the costs down so the virtually full sized cooker and hob with 4 rings made a huge difference to our few days away. We didn't have to eat out every night.
We also loved the fact that we could lounge around in the back area and had full views out on all three sides. It meant it was excellent to stop at beauty spots and if the weather wasn't too good we could still enjoy the view. We will be back for sure - hopefully in the Autumn.
We were surprised at the cost too, it is much cheaper than some we looked at but a really good vehicle and nice and clean. thanks.
Sept / Oct Visit 4 days to Sevenoaks & Pembury for 21st Party. Wow, an excellent time. The motorhome was just the ticket. Camped in field where party was held. Lots of fun and could crash without having to worry about driving.
August / Sept 2010
Party time: Brendon village on Exmoor, Lingfield in Surrey and Sussex :
Friends for get together dinner, in Exmoor then next day we went on to a big party in relatives gardens, 21st party on farm and lots of fun throughout. Parked various places: on lane, private drive, and farm field. No hookup throughout - no problem.
August 2010
Festival - Fairport Convention. Oxfordshire. Excellent venue and good pubs in village. Great music again.
August 2010
Festival - Camp Bestival in Dorset. 2 adults 2 children. They told us they had lots of fun with group of friends. The wind protector walls which you bang into the ground were used to make a kind of play area for the smaller children and baby so they all had safe space to play.

6 in party. 2 Adults, 2 Children & the 2 dogs who slept in the awning. Picked up van and also took own car to camp site near Dartmoor in Devon. Car took one of the children as passenger - so seat belt issue for children sorted, plus had benefit of car for trips to shop if needed. Liked the van, v happy and it worked well.
June/July 2010
We had the most delightful 5 day holiday. A great way to travel because you can see so much more of the countryside being a little higher than in a car. We had a really relaxing time. We found a lovely quiet camp site for two nights. Near a good food pub and a lovely walk up to the top of the cliff which overlooked a little hidden cove. We sat and enjoyed an hour just watching the sea and birds etc. Next we moved on to another site right on the North Devon coast. We loved it and will definitely hire this camper again. It was honestly fantastic.
June 2010
Glastonbury but booked into Glasto Fly with event company so excellent security and facilities with showers and loos on hand. Lots sun, little sleep.
June 2010
Excellent trip to North Wales. This is the second motorhome we have hired and found this to be much better value than the first from another company. Well fitted out van and all the extra equipment provided made life a lot easier. The loo / shower was roomier than expected. The rear end lounge area was something we preferred to the middle seating area of the previous one we hired. All in all it was very good accommodation for our break and the cost was less than we would normally pay at a hotel or B & B.
End April - 1st May weekend
Excellent family gathering for party in Surrey. 90th birthday and a 50th wedding anniversary. Made a meringue desert in the camper oven as contribution to food. Weather good and it was just great to see family from all around the world. Camper made ideal spare room in drive - meant we were on site but didn't impose and didn't have to drive to B & B.
We used the wind breaks on the lawn to make free area for our little dog - so she could walk around freely and we were not worried about her escaping from their garden.
April 2010
A Tranquil site catering purely for adults. The river runs alongside the site and there is a walk on the opposite side - ideal for dog owners - once past the tame ducks. The site has a mill and weir on which you can see dippers and if you are lucky, otters. There is a pub (The Badgers Holt, Bridgetown) within a few steps of the site offering good value food.
"We stayed at the Exe Valley Caravan Park which was beautifully kept and conveniently located - a tranquil setting and very nice.
We enjoyed visiting many of the tourist spots on Exmoor - including historically interesting Dunster & castle, beautiful Tarr Steps and lots of charming villages and their pubs ! We especially enjoyed walking on the moor and around Lynton/Lynmouth and the Valley of rocks. Wonderful Views!
A very relaxing and interesting area of the UK. The camper van itself was fantastically equipped and although we chose to remain static and explore in the car, we found it to be a perfect base.
Thanks for setting everything up so clearly so we didn't have to think about too much and for very helpful notes on walks and pubs."

"Paula and John's camper van was a very comfortable home from home for us. It was lovely to be able to arrive at our chosen camp site knowing that the van would be delivered with everything we needed including a complimentary bottle of wine.
The financial aspects of the hire were simple and our deposit was returned promptly on the safe return of the van.
We used the motorhome at Watterrow Park, a "Tranquil" campsite that caters for adults only. It's a beautiful setting where wildlife has been encouraged and it was wonderful to be able to watch the birds on the feeders right outside our window.
The site is very well appointed and immaculately clean. Recycling is taken very seriously and actively encouraged. The pub - The Rock, is 5 minutes away if you fancy a "gastro" type meal."
